1. Rental Agreement
By renting a trailer from Nick's Trailer Rentals, you agree to comply with all terms and conditions set forth in this agreement. The renter must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
2. Rental Period & Rates
Rental rates are calculated on a daily or weekly basis as specified during booking. Daily rentals are for 24-hour periods from the time of pickup. Weekly rentals offer discounted rates for 7-day periods. Late returns may incur additional fees.
3. Renter Responsibilities
- Inspect the trailer before accepting it and report any pre-existing damage
- Use the trailer only for its intended purpose and within its weight capacity
- Properly secure all cargo and ensure safe towing practices
- Return the trailer in the same condition as received, clean and undamaged
- Ensure your vehicle has the proper towing capacity and hitch equipment
4. Damage & Liability
The renter is responsible for any damage to the trailer during the rental period. This includes damage from accidents, improper use, theft, or vandalism. Renters are encouraged to verify their insurance coverage includes trailer rentals or purchase additional coverage if needed.
5. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to cancellation fees. No-shows will forfeit their rental payment.
6. Prohibited Uses
- Transporting hazardous or illegal materials
- Subleasing or allowing unauthorized persons to use the trailer
- Operating the trailer in an unsafe or negligent manner
- Exceeding the trailer's weight capacity or specifications
